Beta Lambda Archon Promoted to Chief of Radiology

Archon Victor D. Lewis III of Beta Lambda Boulé was recently promoted to Chief of Radiology, Director of Interventional Radiology and the Uterine Fibroid Embolization Center at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, Chesapeake, Virginia.

Archon Lewis received his undergraduate degree from Brown University and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia and a residency in radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining Chesapeake Radiology Ltd., Archon Lewis had served as Director of Interventional Radiology with Lower Bucks Radiology Associates. Previously, he served as Acting Chairman of the Department of Radiology and Director of Interventional Radiology at Holy Redeemer Hospital and Medical Center in Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania.

Archon Lewis has held several academic posts at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He is an active lecturer, facilitator of health programming and member of many professional societies. He has also conducted research in cardiovascular and interventional radiology at the University of Pennsylvania and published several papers. Archon Lewis was names a Kaiser Merit and Radiology Associated scholar and he is board certified in radiology.
