The Grand Boulé Committee on HBCUs presented an HBCU Forum on May 20, 2017 at the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, DC. Most in academia agree that HBCUs are valuable and necessary institutions of higher learning. Sigma Pi Phi is no different in that belief. The HBCU Forum was designed to contribute to the already rich tapestry a blue print focused on the role of boards and presidents, budgetary issues, campus leadership, brand development, alumni relations, marketing of the college or university, sustainability of the institution, and, among other things, best practices for fundraising.
